首先,我們來談談他的軟硬程度。蛋白應該要完全煮熟。而蛋黃,就是中間黃色的部分,又是另外一回事。有些人喜歡濕潤而鬆軟,就像醬料一樣,有的則是喜歡厚實且有嚼勁的。而且他們都各有名字。順序從最濕潤到最結實的蛋黃:單面煎荷包蛋、雙面煎稍嫩荷包蛋(稍微烹煮但仍保有濕潤感的蛋黃)、雙面煎中等荷包蛋(固態但卻鬆軟的蛋黃)以及雙面煎稍老荷包蛋(最結實的蛋黃)。「面」的意思是你要將煎蛋翻面,如此一來就能煎蛋的另一面。

現在,雞蛋要在小火至中火的火候下烹煮。用大火煎蛋會讓它受熱不均且造成口感不佳。耐心很重要!在鍋子裡放入少許的油或奶油,並且在中央打顆蛋。煎蛋的時候,使用抹刀查看底面。一旦煎到你喜歡的樣子,翻個面(輕柔地!)並且以相同的時間煎煮另外一面。

But, would you believe that there are many people who still do not understand how to properly fry an egg

First, let's discuss consistency.Egg whites should always be cooked through. But the yolk, the yellow part in the middle, is a different story. Some like it wet and runny, like a sauce, others like it thick and chewy.There are actual names for this.From the most wet yolk to the firmest: sunny side up, over easy (a little cooked but still wet), over medium (solid but soft), and over hard (firmest).Over means you flip the egg over so it cooks on the other side.

Now, eggs should be cooked over a low-to-medium heat.Cooking eggs on full heat makes them cook unevenly and gives a bad texture.Patience is important! Use a little oil or butter in the pan, and crack the egg over the middle. As it cooks, use a spatula to check the bottom.Once it's done to your liking, flip it over (gently!) and cook the other side for the same amount of time.

Now you have a perfect fried egg!
